2025/09/15 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Buy.
Price is falling in the short term, so right now I’m watching to see whether it stops falling around the current B line or drops as far as the C line.
Once it turns higher, I’ll look to buy the dip.
Scenario A
If price rebounds sharply, I’ll look to buy the dip after it breaks above the recent high.
The market context is still near the highs, so my stance stays the same: wait patiently for a proper pullback before entering.
Target is 200.6
Scenario B
This is the scenario where price stops falling somewhere around the current level or near the C line and then rises.
I don’t know yet where it will bottom out, so I’ll make the call while watching the lower timeframes.
Target is around 200.3
Scenario C
If price breaks below the C line, I’m thinking sell.
I’ll wait for a retracement to enter, with a target of 199.5.
If I plan to hold for a while, I’d like to aim for around 199.
Review

It was Scenario B.
The premise all day since the morning was to wait for a reversal to the upside, and the best entry was a long from ○1, right after price formed a pullback and made a bullish shift.
Then, since price rose in waves, you hold until the Scenario A target.
Take profit where price forms a double top on the 5-minute chart (M5) and starts to fall. 54pips
If you couldn’t get in at ○1, entering from ○2 under Scenario A is also fine.
Either way, it was an easy day to read.
