2026/05/26 USD/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's USD/JPY call: Sell.
It doesn’t look like it has the strength to rise… so I’m going with a sell.
Every timeframe is in a range, and there’s no sense of direction either.
Since yesterday, the round number at A and the green zone at C seem to be holding, so at the day-trading level I’m watching which way that range breaks.
However, even if price breaks out of this range, the 1-hour and 4-hour timeframes will still be in a range, so without a fundamental catalyst this isn’t a situation where it will make a big move right away.
I think it’s enough to wait until it starts moving one way or the other, and then aim for the next wave.
Review

Price moved higher.
If you were looking at it with no bias, buying from circle ① wasn’t out of the question, but with price acting like this near the range high, it’s a bit of a tough call.
The circled area is the target for Scenario A.
It was outside the plan, but circle ②, where price came back down afterward, was the only spot to take a trade that day.
The setup was easy to read, and I think it was a simple entry.
