2025/09/26 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Sell.
The 1-hour chart says sell, but the 4-hour is unclear.
Price could start rising from the blue line at the current price zone.
With that in mind, I’d still like to look for sells.
Scenario A
If price breaks above Line A, I’ll judge that the 4-hour uptrend will carry it to the recent high.
Target is 200.2–200.3
Scenario B
I’m viewing the current range as a sell.
However, this area could also be a pullback on the 4-hour, so price is caught in between and movement has slowed.
If it rises to around Line A and then drops again, I want to sell.
That said, the 1-hour MA is pressing down from above, so it may well just keep falling from here.
Target is 199.5
Scenario C
Selling the rally after price breaks below the recent low.
The first target is again 199.5.
Looking at the bigger picture, it may be possible to aim for 199.
Review

It was Scenario A.
It was a day where you just needed to hold a long position from around ○1, after the 1-hour chart made a bullish shift.
Price dips back a bit, but the pullback at ○2, after it comes back up again, is also a good opportunity.
The reason it didn’t break through right away is that this price is the rally high on the 1-hour chart.
The 15-minute chart has made a bullish shift, while the 1-hour chart is still in a selling-the-rally situation.
However, the 4-hour chart is bullish and rising from a pullback, so overall this is a situation to be buying.
For the target, I hold to see whether it breaks through and goes for another leg, but I take profit where it forms a double top at the recent high. 45 pips
