2025/06/13 USD/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's USD/JPY call: Sell.
Today’s final destination for USD/JPY is 142.3.
The key point today is figuring out whether price heads there or not.
Scenario A
If price breaks above this area, I’ll read it as a 4-hour-level pullback and look for a long.
Target is around 144
Scenario B
Short from around 143.2–143.3.
Yesterday’s low is bothering me, so price might not pull back cleanly all the way to the horizontal line.
Target is 142.3
Scenario C
Short from the support/resistance (S/R) flip after a break below.
Target is also 142.3
Review

In the first half, I waited for Scenario B, but price rose without giving an entry chance, so I stayed in wait-and-see mode.
Then I went long from the red circle, which became the pullback. That’s Scenario A.
After that, I took profit as price came down from a clear double top. 82 pips
This month, USD/JPY has been moving more clearly than GBP/JPY.
On the 1-hour flow, it’s still a buy, so holding with a swing bias would be fine here, but since it’s the weekend, closing out is the safer choice.
