2025/11/11 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Buy.
Price is ranging near the highs, but I basically have a bullish bias.
Scenario A
If price breaks above the range, I’ll buy from a short-term pullback.
The target is a bit hard to set, but around 203.8
Scenario B
The pattern of buying from the range low.
If price is falling in the short term, I’ll make sure to confirm downside stalling before buying.
Target is Line A
Scenario C
If price breaks below the range low, I’ll consider selling the rally.
Target is around 202.1.
I’m still treating the bigger picture as a continued uptrend.
Review

It played out as Scenario C.
Price dropped on the UK data release and broke below the low, so I waited for a retracement and went short from ○1.
However, the move stalled at the blue line and showed signs of reversing, so I exited. 20 pips
This is where you should exit, anticipating a move up from higher lows on the 1-hour chart (H1).
After that, price broke above the high once, so I switched my bias back to buying and went long from ○2.
This one also stalled near the recent high and started falling, so I took profit early. 20 pips
The 1-hour chart (H1) is still moving in a range, so the approach is to take only what the market gives.
