2026/02/27 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Sell.
I have a bearish bias, in line with the recent flow.
Since this is a price zone that acts as support on the 4-hour chart, I think it’s more likely to pull back up once rather than keep falling from here.
If it pulls back, I’m expecting the rise to stall below Line B, but I think a sell remains possible until it breaks above Line A.
If it breaks below Line C, I’ll naturally be looking to sell, but there’s another support zone below that, so I can’t really picture it dropping steadily lower.
Review

It was Scenario B.
Price broke above Line B, but it didn’t break Line A and fell from there.
If you could have gone short at the red circle, where price formed a double top on the 5-minute chart (M5) right at Line A and then headed lower, the risk-reward would have been good too, but since price had broken the recent high on the 15-minute chart, it’s a tough one to take on instinct.
If you were watching with the firm conviction that “it’s a sell until Line A breaks,” you could have gotten in.
The difficulty was on the high side, and the market context wasn’t easy either, so it was a day you didn’t need to force a trade.
