2025/04/25 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

The GBP/JPY trade strategy for 2025/04/25 is to buy.
There was a good opportunity shortly before noon.
If you missed it, you can’t buy from the current level, so I’ll wait for a pullback.
That said, with the direction aligned on the daily chart and every lower timeframe, price may also rise without forming a proper pullback.
Scenario A
If price breaks above, I’d like to watch the reaction at the 190.6 line and go long.
However, there’s nothing here that would make it act as support/resistance (S/R), so jumping in on the first touch is fairly high risk.
Enter only after properly confirming the reaction at the line.
Target is around 191.5–192.
Scenario B
For now, I see this area as the pullback candidate.
But as I wrote at the start, when there’s momentum, price tends to extend without much of a correction, so it’s hard to say whether it will come back down this far.
I’m looking at around 190.3 as the pullback, but I keep a bullish bias down to around 190, so it’s better to allow a bit of room on the downside.
Scenario C
If price breaks below 190, I’ll consider it a bearish shift.
Target is around 189.5.
Review

Another day where all you had to do was ride the ongoing upward flow.
The pullback before the morning trade strategy went out was the best entry timing. Circle ①
After that, the entries are longs at circle ②, where price turned up (making higher lows) from the support/resistance (S/R) on the 15-minute chart (M15), or around circle ③, which became the next pullback.
In terms of market context, there weren’t many selling factors, so it’s simply a matter of going long once you judge that the decline has stopped.
Take profit is a bit tricky, but since price has already exceeded Scenario A’s target of 191.5, you take profit once you see signs of upside stalling after that. 75–85 pips
