2026/06/29 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Buy.
My bias is to buy, but this looks like a tricky price zone.
I’m thinking of either buying from the lower part of the current range, or waiting for a break either up or down before getting in.
On the 1-hour chart (H1), the flow looks like it’s turning up (making higher lows), as shown by the blue line, so it may not drop any further. But the higher timeframe environment isn’t great either, so it seems best to wait patiently.
Review

It was Scenario A.
For the first time in a while, it was a clear and easy day.
I went long at ○1, the pullback after the break of Line A.
The target of 214.3 was the green line along the way, but since the price kept rising without losing momentum, I placed a limit at the next pink line up and moved my stop-loss level to just below the green line, and left it there.
In the end, I took profit at the pink line. 82 pips
