2026/05/15 GBP/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's GBP/JPY call: Sell.
Price dropped sharply yesterday and has now almost reached its target.
It may be unlikely to make another big move right away from here.
If I were to look for a trade from here, it would be Scenario B: selling from the upper part of the current range.
That said, the target for now is only around the green line just below C, so I can’t expect much room to run.
If today closes in this price zone, the weekly chart will start to look like it wants to head lower for a while, so I think it’s fine to just wait for an opportunity next week.
Review

It was Scenario B.
Price pulled back to the pink line and made a clean S/R flip bounce, so the short entry is at circle ①.
Take profit where the move stalls at the green target line. 40 pips
You could enter again at circle ② using the same logic, but on the 15-minute level the shape is starting to look a bit questionable, so don’t chase it too far.
Again, closing the position at the green line is fine.
