2026/03/05 USD/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's USD/JPY call: Sell.
The near-term flow is to the downside, but the 4-hour chart has reached its target, and the daily chart is sitting right at a good spot for a pullback.
If price starts turning down (making lower highs) from around current levels, I’ll sell, but if it moves higher, I’ll switch my bias to buying.
My sense is that it’s more likely to stop falling around here and move higher.
Review

It played out as Scenario A.
As I wrote this morning, the market context made a rise likely, so I waited with that as my premise.
I had a bearish bias until price broke above Line A, but there was no turning down (making lower highs), so I never got a chance to sell before it broke above Line A.
After that, I went long at circle ①, which was the pullback.
Take profit when price reached the target line. 24 pips
Price then came back to the same line again, so I went long at circle ②, where it started rising again from the line.
This one broke through the target, so I took profit near the next line up. 55 pips
