2025/12/09 USD/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's USD/JPY call: Buy.
Price is rising, but it has reached the 4-hour resistance zone and stalled.
I’m keeping my bullish bias, but even if it breaks out of the current range, the 4-hour recent high sits just above.
The uptrend on the daily chart hasn’t changed, but it’s unclear whether price will keep rising from here or make a pullback first and then rise.
If I buy, I’d like to buy as low as possible.
Review

It played out as Scenario A.
Long from circle ①, the 15-minute pullback after the first breakout.
This one hit the target and I took profit. 27 pips
After that, price came back to Line A again on a 1-hour pullback, so I went long from circle ② using the same logic.
Here an uptrend had formed, so I hold on the assumption that it will break above the high.
Since it gets late at night, it’s fine either to leave it running as an overnight hold, or to set a limit order to take profit just before the yellow line or the blue line.
In that case, it’s important to move your stop-loss level to make the trade risk-free.
In this case, if you set the stop-loss level slightly below the pink line at 156.3, you won’t lose anything even if price comes back down.
With a limit at the yellow line, that’s 68 pips
