2026/09/29 USD/JPY Trade Strategy

Today's USD/JPY call: Sell.
The flow is to the downside, but there’s a key level below acting as support, so the market is undecided.
The price zone is also right in the middle of the range, so if you trade, it’s safer to wait until price reaches the edge of the range.
If you’re working on the assumption that it keeps falling, I think it’s fine to go short starting with a short-term trade, as shown by the blue arrow.
Review

It was a range.
Following the Scenario B picture, I went short at ○1, where price reached the range high and started to drop.
This kind of move, where price briefly sets a high and then falls away, is something you often see in a range.
After that, price suddenly bounced back near the blue line, so I took profit. 45 pips
I was watching the yellow line at C as the range low, but the blue line one level above ended up working better.
